“Welcome to Minnesota, where everything tastes better on a stick! I’ve never been in a city that’s this friendly with this much tear gas residue.” – Jon Stewart, The Daily Show
Perhaps a little passive/aggressive? Last count, there were more than 818 arrests during the RNC — that’s 200+ more than arrested in Chicago in 1968. Lots of clubbing and I am not talking about disco dancing. And the big question is why did they arrest so many journalists – to control the violence or to control the message?
You’d have to think that Mayor Chris Coleman has as much to answer for as Mayor Richard Daley of Chicago did.
