Ramblin’ Rosie Monroe

I had to bury my best pal today, my dog Rosie.  She was the sweetest and most tenacious dog I’ve ever known.  She was a stray that rambled into my life nearly 15 years ago.  I’m really going to miss her.  She is buried under an apple tree next to my friend’s horse, Aspen who was put down last year.  It is land Rosie and I have enjoyed together over the last couple of years.  I am so grateful Mary Ludington immortalized Rosie by including her in her book the Nature of Dogs.
