OK, so for the first time in my life, I was really star struck giddy. I was hired by the Obama campaign to photograph the clutch (the back stage grip and grins as we call them.) After we were done, my friend and Obama staff, C Scott asked to have his picture taken with Michelle, then Jamie Drogin who is another Obama staff person asked if I would take her picture as well. Then I did something I’ve never done before, I asked C Scott if he would take my picture. We were all like giddy kids with excitement. It felt great. What a gift it was to meet the next first lady in person. She exudes grace. It’s like there is one big hug surrounding everyone who is in her presence. I am so looking forward to her and Barack’s voice in the White House. I will post some photos I took after I finish editing.
