Girl Scouts 100th Birthday celebration
What an amazing weekend as thousands of Girl Scouts from across the country kicked off their 100th Birthday. A real highlight was the Skype link up with Ann Bancroft and Liv Arnesen who are on the ice in Norway training for their upcoming expedition to Antarctica this coming fall.

Christine Rosholt’s sister came for a visit yesterday and brought me flowers from Christine’s memorial service. Thanks Lizzy, It touched my heart.

Rep. Susan Allen took her seat today as the first Native American woman to serve as a Representative in the Minnesota House. Minnesota, the land of opportunity as least in the Democratic party. Congratulations Susan.
